Charlotte Tilbury Haul

As you may or may not know, but it was my birthday two/three weeks ago now OH my time flies! Anywho, I basically asked for a few of Charlotte Tilbury's makeup products. I have never used any of her makeup before but I've always seen it being raved about. So I was supper excited to open these on the morning of my birthday and I'm going to share them with you too, couldn't have you feeling left out, could we?

Colour Chameleon in Amber Haze
This product is actually the reason why this order happened, I asked my mum to buy it for my birthday because lots of people always rave about these, so I researched what colour I would like (on the website there is different ones for certain eye colours) even though I actually didn't really listen to that, rebel!! But my mum was ordering it for me and you had to spend a certain amount for free delivery, so thats when all this happened...

Luxury Palette in Golden Goddess
I didn't think I would love this palette as much as I do, but I love the palest shade, I use it pretty much everyday now as just a sweep of colour over the eyelid. I use the more smokey shades when I am going out for the evening or I'm just feeling super wild in the day time!

Hot Lips in Hot Emily
The lipstick was the hardest decision for me because I was thinking well I have soooo many lipsticks I don't really need another one at all. But I was thinking I wanted a very summery shade, and I did want a coral shade, and Hot Emily is the one I went for. I did actually wear this on my birthday... and obviously took a selfie with my balloon, so enjoy that (oh dear). But the lipstick stayed on all day, even through my birthday meal in the evening, this particular shade isn't matte but there are different finishes within the range I will leave a link to the website at the end of the post so you can go into your overdrafts!

Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk
I couldn't not get this lip liner, everyone raves about it, and I agree its stunning and amazing for every day, keeps your lipstick on longer or if I'm honest I like wearing it on its own. It is very similar to Rimmel's lip liner in eastend snob, so I would get that one just to save a bit of dollar!

Charlotte Tilbury is a brand which I find so interesting because its fun but so classy. The packaging of every product is just beautiful, and literally with every product I just didn't want to throw away the outer packaging because its just absolutely stunning. I did only get 4 products, but it's a luxury brand, therefore it does have a price tag. But I would completely recommend the eyeshadow palette, I always seem to reach for it and the new Hot Lips collection looks insane! here you go; http://www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/ have a nose on there!!

Banana & Almond Smoothie

I find being healthy extremely hard, especially these days it's so much easier to just jump in the car and go and get a McDonalds, or even order a delivery, and it gets delivered straight to your door! You barley even have to move then. Anywho, I'm not saying I don't do those things, I do, I love a chicken tikka masala. But for breakfast I really do try to be healthy, and I find it the easiest thing to start with. Especially because its the first thing I do in the morning, and it somehow makes me feel better throughout the rest of the day, and I am less likely to order a takeaway for dinner then, I don't know, I think thats just me.

I often make smoothies in the morning, and I am going to share my favourite one that I have developed recently. This smoothie is so easy to make, it takes as much time to makes this as it does to stick two pieces of bread in the toaster and slap some butter on.

You will need:
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of almond butter
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon of honey

I use my nutribullet to wiz all the ingredients together, theres not really a particular order I put the ingredients in. However, I do tend to add any liquids first, otherwise my almond butter and honey stick to the bottom. If this does happen anyway, just get a spoon and stir them all together.

With the bananas, I tend to cut and freeze the bananas the day before. If I forget then a normal banana and some ice does the job too.

When you have your mixutre, it will be a slightly yellow boring colour, but you can even put a cute little straw in when you finish! Just to make it look a bit prettier... GOOD LUCK!

June Favourites 2016

Cannot believe that its now JULY!! Where on earth is the time going... anyway, heres some of the products I have been in love with this month.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation - I have never owned a foundation from Chanel before, or any makeup item if I'm honest. However, Mademosielle is just my all time favourite scent. I will be writing a more in-depth review on this foundation, but if you want a very luxury product which is amazing, very light-weight but can be built up to a light/medium coverage, you will love this product as much as me. I would say I do prefer more heavy coverage foundations like Mac Studio Fix, but this foundation is perfect for summer, it lets the skin breathe and is a water based foundation, so you need to shake it before application. I use the shade B10, which is the palest shade, I will just bronze my skin up for when I do (hopefully) get a summer tan!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer - I just want to say that I really don't like the foundation from this range, its way to full coverage and heavy for me, even though I just said I am more drawn to full coverage foundations, double wear just didn't agree with me, and every time I wore it I got breakouts *cry*. On the other hand, I adore this concealer, it has got a high coverage, but when worn with the Chanel foundation, its perfect because I just apply this were I need more coverage. I think this would be great for a day were you don't want much makeup on, and will skip foundation because this is a great product for coverage where you need it. (I am shade - 1C light cool)

Benefit Hoola - I'm sure I've mentioned this in a recent favourites, (I can't remember, sorry my bad). But I really love this bronzer, its got amazing pigmentation and just is the perfect bronzer shade, can be used on the high points of the face to give a natural bronze or is the right shade to use more in the contour of the face. Can't not mention the packaging, its super cute!!

Elizabeth Arden Lash Extending Mascara - In the summer days I prefer to have my lashes looking natural and separated, and this mascara is perfect for this. I use two coats, it gives amazing length and definition. Perfect for everyday and is just probably the best mascara I've found for separation.

NYX butter gloss - I have two versions of this product, one is 'INTENSE' and the other is just... normal!? I really like these because they just leave such a gorgeous gloss on the lips, which isn't sticky it just looks so pretty. I would say theres only one downfall with these and thats, that they don't really last too long. But at the end of the day, it's a lipgloss, they won't last for hours and hours. However, glosses are much easier to apply, so carrying it in your handbag and applying on the go works for me! Shades - Intense; chocolate crepe (90s deep shade) butter gloss normal; Peaches and cream, gorgeous pure summer pink. Love NYX shade names!

Turning Twenty

Today is my birthday, and I am super excited! I love birthdays, I love celebrating them with loved ones and its just lovely that it's your day and you can do whatever you like. I'm a big fan!

So I am now stepping out of my teenage years (I hope this brings me out of my teenage spots - we can hope)! But seriously, I can't believe I have been on this planet for 20 years, how insane is that!

It only feels like yesterday when I was sitting with my Bratz dolls, playing with their hair and dressing them up. I'm sure we all did stuff like that. Those were the days where you had no worries, or at least your biggest worry was 'have I done my homework' wow, can I go back to that.

But the last 5 years, have gone super quick, and it's seriously scary. Ever since I've left school, life has just flown by and every single day seems to zoom past. In 365 days I will be 21, and I will be able to drink in America is just crazzzzzy. Well I think thats right, if I have got my facts correct...

I haven't really got any plans this year, but I've got the week off work, so hopefully my boyfriend will take me somewhere nice, where I can either lie on the beach and catch a tan or do some retail therapy.  I do think whatever I do, as long as I'm with people I love, it will be a great day.

If it's your birthday soon, or even today... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! What do you love to do on your special day?

M.A.C Warm Neutral Eyeshadow Palette

This is a product which I drool over every time I go to Mac or I'm on their website. I obsess over any palette really, but this one is special because its got Mac eyeshadows in which I would say, are my favourite eyeshadows. Yes, I love the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, Zoeva Cocoa Blends and Sleek eyeshadows but Mac is just a cult classic staple.

Theres two options with these x15 palettes from Mac, you can either buy the black case and filler, which I believe is £10 for the case and £2.50 for the fillers. Then you have the option to fill your palette up with all the great shades, the pan fill shades you need are £10 each! It gives you your chance to put your own spin on the palette, you can choose what you like, and make it unique to you. Or, you can do what I did... Theres custom eyeshadow palettes, they are £60 for 15 eyeshadows, plus the case (shown in pictures). I think there are two custom palettes 'warm neutral' or 'cool neutral' I picked the warm neutral because I do just love a good bronze, orange toned eyeshadow that makes my blue eyes pop!

With the way I did it, just buying the palette, it's not as fun but you get shades you might not of even picked yourself and end up loving them! Of course, it could be the other way around too. It saves a lot of money though! I've just totted up, how much it would be starting from scratch... ready?! £162.50! Or I paid £60 for the pre-selected palette!

Shades in my palette;

Hey, Warm breeze, Gingersnap, Dark brew, Dance in the dark
Brule, Vanilla extract, Honey lust, Amber lights, Saddle
Lemon tart, Creative copper, Butterfudge, Divine decadence, Unwind

Some of these shades, you might not of ever heard of, thats because they aren't in the permanent range at Mac. So the pre-made palettes do have shades you can't get singly.

What's your favourite Mac shade?
